WazTong’s Youth Protection Policy WazTong is a language learning app that can be used by those aged 10 or older. We regard protecting youth from harmful information of the utmost importance and are implementing the Youth Protection Policy stipulated by the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Use and Information Protection, etc. to help youth safely use our services as follows.
Goals and Basic Principles of Youth Protection We specify the Youth Protection Policy to protect the young from harmful environments and, above all, to provide a secure service environment.
Measures for Youth Protection We specify the Youth Protection Policy to provide a safe and beneficial service environment for the young. In addition, we have management measures to prevent information harmful from reaching the young and provide email and fax numbers for reporting and grievance handling of information harmful to the young.
Management Measures for Information Harmful to the Young We take preemptive measures to protect the young from harmful information and apply measures to prevent illegal or harmful content from being exposed to youth throughout the entire service.
Training of Business Managers for Youth Protection We educate youth protection managers and service managers on youth protection, basic principles, technical and administrative measures, reporting method, and response procedure for violations.
Receiving Reports and Handling Grievances We have specially allocated staff in charge of reporting and grievance handling of information harmful to youth and do our best to prevent damage from occurring, attributable to information harmful to youth.
Youth Protection Through User Awareness We have detailed hazardous content and unhealthy activities in our Terms of Service, provide a screen requesting for consent to healthy and content safe use at the end of the app’s sign-up, and are providing service only if the user consents to this.
Youth Protection Manager and Person in Charge We designate a person in charge of blocking and managing information harmful to youth and establishing the Youth Protection Policy as follows.
